About Pimbrulia Poe

In the town of Silver Creek among horse ranches and rolling hills that lay in the shadow of the Lyst Mountain Range lives a 14 year old girl named Pim who is discovering that the harder she tries to become an adult the faster the world she knew as a child disappears. But Pim is far from the average teenager.  She was born with a fierce intensity and internal drive that will both serve her desires and also will be her greatest downfall.  As Pim pushes the boundaries of her rural family life to gain new experiences she will be forced to trade childhood innocence for hard fought wisdom.  But there’s one thing she doesn’t want to let go of and that’s the secret world she has just discovered.

Book One: The Adventures of Pimbrulia Underground

Pimbrulia wants to spend her summer vacation from school hanging out with her friends.  But, a recent incident with her parents has her grounded.  Now stuck at home and missing out on her vacation Pim devises a plan to keep the fun alive.  However, unfortunately for Pim her timing couldn’t have been worse.  A serious storm has blown across the mountains and caused hazardous conditions.  Pim will briefly escape peril only to uncover a mystery about her home in Sliver Creek – and some thing else.  Her family is in great danger.  Pim discovers a secret cave, sees creatures she can’t explain, and must get back to her parents before it’s too late.  There’s just one problem…  She’s lost underground.

About the Author

Hey, I’m Rob Lewis.  I’m an artist and writer living in Los Angeles, CA.  I am currently writing and illustrating the graphic novel series titled The Adventures of Pimbrulia Underground. But I also like to mix it up and stay fresh with other forms of media when I can.  I write screenplays, make films, make physical art, paintings, illustrations, and often repair or reinvent the occasional broken kid’s toy (none of which make very much money).  While I’m making comics I like to listen to podcasts about Sasquatch and UFOs.  And when I’m not drawing I like to be outside with my kids on an adventure in sunny Southern California.
